Founded in 1970, the Festival Interceltique de Lorient is the largest Celtic festival in the world and is dedicated to showcasing the cultural traditions of the many different Celtic nations from around the world.
Each year the festival welcomes over 750,00 attendees into the heart of the city of Lorient in southern Brittany. For 10 days in the month of August, spectators bask themselves in glorious sunshine as they watch the very best in everything from music and dance to photography, theatre and sport.
